One of New Mexico’s biggest issues is access to Healthcare. Advocating for residents of New Mexico who suffer from rare genetic diseases is vital because it affects their everyday life and the lives of those around them. One in ten New Mexicans could benefit from better access to healthcare. Our State should definitely improve in this regard. With the help of the University of New Mexico and NORD we can bring change to the Land of Enchantment and those suffering from rare diseases.
